Ax2mc 1100 is a Serial Rapid IO (hereinafter sRIO) card with Freescale’s PowerQUICC III MPC8548E on CPU. Equipped with 4 lanes of sRIO high-speed data link of 2.5 Gbps, it can be used as both host and IO as PMC (PCI) and XMC (PCI Express) cards. This makes it possible to build high-speed sRIO networks between systems or between boards.
Also equipped with Gbit Ethernet, it can also be used as sRIO – GbE gateway card.
